KUOW Covers Tanya Erzen’s New Book

Our Executive Director here at FEPPS, a professor at the University of Puget Sound, as well as an established author, Tanya Erzen has recently completed her third book, “God in Captivity: The Rise of Faith-Based Ministries in an Age of Mass Incarceration.” She had the pleasure of sitting down with Bill Radke of KUOW, a Seattle based public news radio outlet, to have a discussion around her forthcoming book and briefly touch on some of the things she says are contributing to or may help explain this rise in faith based ministries in United States prisons today. Listen to the full interview here.

Tanya Erzen’s other two books include “Straight to Jesus: Sexual and Christian Conversions in the Ex-Gay Movement” and “Fanpire: The Religion of Twilight.” Her most recent work, discussed above, is currently available for preorder. It can be found at AmazonIndie Bound, and Barnes and Noble.
